Locsha River is located in the mountains of NW Idaho. The Locsha originates at the Confluence of Crooked Fork and Colt Killed Creek in the Bitterroot Mountains near Powell Ranger Station. The Locsha is rated as one of the worlds best for continuous white water with several class VI rapids.<br />
Among it's many tributaries is Old Man Creek located at Mile post 113 and is one of the more scenic on the river. Among the wildlife are deer, elk, black bear, moose and mountain lions.<br />

Birds are, Canada geese, swans, eagles, Osprey and Wild Turkeys.<br />
<br />
Fish are Cutthroat, Rainbow, Chinook Salmon and Steelhead.
